The summer heat hung heavy in the air on July 17, 2010 – a day that would forever divide Jessica Navarro’s life into “before” and “after.” In a split second, a car accident transformed this vibrant Latina woman into a quadriplegic. But for Jessica, this moment would become not an ending, but a powerful beginning.

As a first-generation Latina woman, Jessica had already faced her share of barriers. Now, navigating life with a disability added new layers of complexity. Yet with every challenge, her resilience deepened. She returned to school to earn her GED, then pursued her bachelor’s degree in social work. After earning her degree, she began working with families from diverse backgrounds, using her personal experiences and newly acquired professional skills to guide and support those facing their own struggles. In doing so, she discovered her true calling: empowering, motivating, and helping others overcome their challenges.

In 2024, in the small town of Faribault, Minnesota, Jessica launched a pioneering employment advocacy firm. Her company emerged from a profound understanding that the workplace wasn’t just lacking diversity; it was missing the rich perspective that comes from someone who truly understands transformation.

Every person who comes through my door carries their own story. As a mother, a quadriplegic, a Latina, and a social worker, I see beyond the surface. I understand that each individual's path to employment isn't just about finding a job – it's about finding purpose.

Working with clients who are disabled, neurodivergant, Spanish speaking, or from marginalized communities, Jessica creates a space where barriers transform into stepping stones. Her company stands as a testament to the power of resilience, advocating for an equitable workforce where diversity and inclusivity aren’t just welcomed, but embraced. From the depths of personal tragedy, Jessica Navarro has risen to become more than a survivor – she’s become a beacon of hope, guiding others to find their own paths to success.
